By mid-morning, I found myself in the all-too-familiar setting of a clinic, awaiting an MRI. The wait was longer than a filibuster, so I turned to my phone and dove back into the world of ChatGPT. The plugin count had exploded, from a modest gathering to a veritable digital metropolis. The growth was exponential, a testament to the ingenuity of developers and the insatiable curiosity of users like myself.
Among the plethora of specialized GPTs, I encountered one for Canva and thought, “Why not?” So, I asked the AI to whip up a lawyer meme, because who doesn’t love a good chuckle at the absurdity of client relationships? It was so spot-on, I duplicated it, flipped it, reversed it, and made it even funnier. It was easier than putting socks on a rooster.
The array of GPTs was as varied as the law itself. There was DALL·E, an artist turning concepts into visuals, and the Negotiator, ready to strategize like a seasoned litigator. For those moments of writer’s block, the Creative Writing Coach offered guidance, while the Tech Support Advisor stood ready to troubleshoot with the patience of a saint. I did encounter one irritant, you couldn’t use those magical plugins with the Specialist GPTs. Hope they remedy that soon.
After the day’s appointments, I returned home to find ChatGPT taking an unexpected recess – the system had crashed, a rare hiccup in the digital court of public opinion. Yet, before the downtime, I had managed to conduct some substantial research. Thank God for Bard – who is a masterful backup.
The next day brought a new beginning and a fresh login. With the results of my MRI in hand, I challengesd ChatGPT to channel a leading surgeon’s expertise. The AI responds with digital empathy, translating medical speak into a clear narrative, offering a level of patient understanding and interaction as impressive as securing more than five precious minutes with a real-life doctor. Patiently addressing every follow-up question without a hint of haste.
